Founded in Marbella in 1976 by Krakatoa Smith, at a time when explaining padel took considerably longer than playing it.

The original club proved unexpectedly popular. Others followed, establishing KSPC in a number of entirely suitable locations around the world.

Traditions developed. Rivalries followed. Rules were introduced that nobody remembers voting for.
